Roman Ataman is a former senior sergeant of the Azov Brigade who was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He was reportedly taken prisoner in February 2023. He was convicted of participating in a terrorist community and undergoing terrorist training.
Атаман Роман Игоревич родился 15 августа 1994 года, уроженец села Подорожное Стрыйского района Львовской области, жил в Мариуполе, старший сержант бригады «Азов» Национальной гвардии Украины. 22 сентября 2025 года приговорён по ч. 2 ст. 205.4 УК РФ («Участие в террористическом сообществе») и ст. 205.3 УК РФ («Прохождение обучения в целях осуществления террористической деятельности») к 20 годам лишения свободы. Попал в плен предположительно в феврале 2023 года.
