Temir Makhmudov is a civic activist and human rights defender. He is one of the 27 people detained in connection with the Kempir-Abad case. He was arrested in Bishkek on suspicion of organizing mass riots and attempting to seize power by force. During his pre-trial detention, he was subjected to severe psychological and physical pressure, which led to a significant deterioration of his health.
