Mikhail Proshenkov, a 58-year-old Jehovah's Witness, was arrested during early-morning raids in Saratov. He was allegedly tortured with a stun gun by Armed National Guard personnel while his home was searched and charged with organizing the activities of a banned "extremist" organisation.
